How to Get a Good Allowance

Have you ever saw some thing you liked in a store, but you didn't have enough money to buy it or parents won't let you have it? If so, you may want to ask your parents for an allowance. You always should start with household chores and discuss a starting price.

   Ask your parents if you could have an allowance. Tell them you could do chores every day for two weeks and get your allowance the Friday of the second week.

   Ask what chores you could do like mow the lawn, wash dishes, sweep, do the laundry, and if your not happy with your allowance, ask for a raise and say you'll do more chores.

   Stay committed. If you don't do your chores you may not get paid that on payday. Remember do it neatly.

   Work Hard at school. They might be really happy with your grades and give you a bonus in your allowance!

   Do the jobs thoroughly. Don't stop half-way or clean half-heartedly, take pride in your job and your parents might pay you more for doing a good job!
